Our Deaf Language and Culture program will allow you to build a solid foundation in American Sign Language (ASL) as you enhance your communication skills. The minor is a perfect fit for majors in fields such as education, business, science, health science, communications, psychology and others.

True to St. Scholastica鈥檚 universal focus on experiential learning, as a student in this program you will benefit from immersion opportunities to socialize with members of the Deaf community. Led by faculty with international experience with sign languages and expertise in second language acquisition, you will gain a full understanding of the Deaf history, culture and modern experience in America and around the globe.

Benedictine Scholarship

All new first-year applicants to St. Scholastica will be awarded either the Benedictine Scholarship or the Access Award, upon admission to the College.

Financial Aid

100% of traditional incoming undergraduates receive some type of scholarships. The average for scholarships, grants and/or loans is $31,841.
